What is it?
ACCU-LINK is a bi-directional, post processing manufacturing software. It can extract information from any order entry or design software that is able to export .csv file formats.
What does it do?
It enables access to critical information by the manufacturing floor provided by YOUR Order Entry/Design System Software. The old method of printing multiple pages of work orders, job tickets is eliminated. This saves time and money, not only in the office, but also saves the time used on the manufacturing floor to interpret that information.
ACCU-LINK uses this data to provide the appropriate information in real-time to simplify and streamline the simultaneous setup/control of any number of Accu-Systems machines. In the case that there is no downstream Accu-System machinery, a PC can be placed at any machine to access the information from ACCU-LINK.
How does it do it?
ACCU-LINK begins by combining orders from your Order Entry/Design System Software to create a "Master" cutlist for like components based on their species, thickness, and width. ACCU-LINK then downloads this "Master" cutlist right into the Accu-Systems model OCS "Push-Feed" optimizing cross-cut saw. The cross-cut saw creates a stream of accurately cut, multiple length, mixed order components ready for further downstream processing. Each cut component is provided a label as it exits the cross-cut saw for future organizational, machining and assembly purposes. This label includes at the least, a barcode, and a bin number. In the event that an Accu-Systems Optimizing Cross Cut saw does not exist in the process, a Touch Screen PC with the list of parts to be processed can be placed by any cut off station. Component parts will be processed as usual, the operator will select the appropriate part from the list and a label will be generated. The bar-coded label can now be used to access the necessary information to simplify and streamline the setup/control of any number of Accu-Systems machines downstream in the manufacturing process. Every time a barcode is accessed, ACCU-LINK is updated for that individual components progress through its manufacturing process. After component manufacturing is complete, the label is again used to sort and bin these components for assembly according to their associated order. This process eliminates the need for paperwork in the component creation process and therefore reduces a great deal of waste in manufacturing.
